I do 1 set of 25, rest for 1 minute, then a further 15 twice a day ( morning and evening). I then follow with some squats ( 3 X 12). I'm 61 years old and feel good.

I’m 68 and have been doing 15 a day for a couple years. It does give you some nice muscle tone.

I know no one cares and probably my loved ones won’t see this but Pushups helped me cure my depression when I’m having an episode.. it puts me to sleep after I do 100 and I love the pain of being sore

A young colleague of mine does 400 hundred push ups every day. 100 when he wakes up in the morning. 100 when he gets home from work. 100 after hes had bath/shower. And 100 after his evening meal. Hes 28 yrs old and hes been doing the same routine for 6 yrs now. He started doing push ups cos he felt he was starting to look a bit out of shape. Then it becane a very healthy obsession. He weighs 17.5 stone. He's got a barrel chest. And his biceps look like thigh muscles. His muscle mass is not chiseled though. His chest and bicep muscles are huge, but theyre not sculptured etc. But one thing you can't avoid witnessing is his unbelievable brute force strength/power. We're scaffolders. And ive got to say that in the 35 yrs ive been in the game, ive never once met another scaffolder whos anywhere near as strong as this lad. 30 x scaffold fittings in a bucket is a fairly hefty dead weight that you have to hoist onto your shoulder. He picks up full buckets of fittings as if the buckets are empty! Thats how strong the lad is. He also stands up 8m scaffold ladders from a horisontal start in a vertical position with the end of the ladder having any contact with the floor.

I went from 0 pushups to 7 pushups at a time in one month. It feels so good.

If you're having trouble with preforming push-ups for any reason, try wall push-ups to start off. I'm disabled and was recommended this method by a physical therapist. It still works out those same muscles, just allowing you better access until you've gained the strength to take on floor push-ups. Keeping a walking aid or a chair nearby is a great way to stay safe when testing the waters as well.

Don't be afraid to find ways to accommodate yourself. Exercise is for everyone. :)

I used to do 65 pushups at 50 years old now 70 I can only do 40 but that's ok

Been dealing with Achilles pain for almost a year. Been doing pushups for just 2 weeks, 1 set per day and I feel significant improvement. Sounds weird but the leg muscles required to support your lower half are important too.

I'm doing it with dumbells at the side. I find it way flippen harder than just your hands. I struggle with 2 sets of 15 doing that way with resistance. Normally its 30. I like it...I feel it!

In his youth, Mike Tyson did 400 pushups every day. He did not lift weights until after he got out of prison when he was about age 29 or 30.

I'm Muslim alhamduliah. Each time i pray which is 5 times daily i try an do atleast 10 each time. Which makes for 50 a day minimum.

i got a new piece of gear..the perfect push up ..u know what im talkn about..gotta tell you im50 former marine ..and i knew i had plateud..my strength ..my chest alone has freakin grown pretty darn good..no matter what push ups should be part of your ed or eod routine..game changer piece of gear..esp when u focus on the muscle contracting /isolating.

62 year old do five set of ten and i lift weights 6 times a week different parts of the body just started back hade to stophade accident and broke my big toe messed up my shoulder and back was on a good 7 month run till that happened chilled out 3 and half months when i tested the areas they still hurt . So i am back going strong
