- Don't take the method and techniques too lightly, they go deep and the effects can have a huge impact.
- Don't do the breathing exercises in a swimming pool, before going under water, beneath the shower or piloting any vehicle, without proper supervision. Always practice in a safe environment.
- Keep in mind to do the exercises without forcing them, gradually build up and don't exceed your limits.
- Note that tinnitus symptoms may appear as a result of pushing too forcefully during the breathing exercise. If this happens, take a step back in your future practice, it’s important to increase gradually, not forcefully.

As someone who has suffered from a Liver transplant along with several other disease. Mentally i worried about death daily never being able to over come it and never not being depressed.. It's been 3 weeks now since following Wim Hof method and i must say i've never felt so free before. I owe everything to this man for giving me even small moments of relief. Thank you

I started trying out your breathing method about a week ago. Just want to thank you for sharing this amazing experience with the world. I have a important friend who has been troubled by depression for a long time. I was looking for ways to help her and now I found your method and the most important thing is that she is also willing to give it a try (if I could only tell you how stubborn she normally is on many aspects). I just want to say thank you. There is a strong cold current right now in my country Taiwan. Holy cold it is!

This changed my life straight away.
I wish I had understood this much earlier.
I snapped out of a depressive period and have been moderately depressed all my life due to crap childhood.
I believe in the bottom up method. Fix the body and then the mind will function.

It sucks that you have to say "if you have a medical condition check with your doctor first" because that may put some people off, like people with anxiety, but in reality what is a doctor going to know about your method? I've had severe anxiety and insomnia for 7 nights and i did your method two nights and last night when I did it I also set an intention, "i will sleep for at least 5 hours tonight" and i actually slept last night for the first time in a week. I was getting so exhausted I was contemplating suicide. My doctor just said to take benadryl. The only thing I've noticed that's negative at all is that my lungs/chest is sore from all that breathing but I'll get used to it. I feel like my body got stuck in an anxiety loop or something and this method snapped me out of it in a way no psychologist could have done. Thank you Wim. I'm almost done with your book but so far it's amazing and been a helpful resource for me.

Oops!🤭. Did the Guided Wim Hof Breathing video (1st exercise was trouble toward the near end on the second and third), and THEN decided to check out video saw the “safety video” recommendation! Wim on Russel Brands’s grateful that I did! I’m a 58 yr old female smoker....and know I should think I’d make it 4 seconds with the breathing technique I did ....and more! I’ve got to show this to my husband and son! Thank you so much for making this available to all of humanity! Much love to you, from northeast Pennsylvania!
