How To Open Newer Premiere Pro Project Using an Older Version

In this video I'll show you how to doengrade or roll back a premiere pro project so you can open in in older versions of premiere pro.

This is useful if you're still using an older version of premiere and want to collaborate with others. The best method id to of course update Premiere but the easiest method is to downgrade the project.

Just to note: if you're using a evry old version of premiere, some stuff might get deleted or replaced.

Can I shout it from the mountaintops?? This worked like a damn charm. I'm very impressed especially because I didn't even have to download software. It just DID it. Wow wow wow. I'm amazed. I did this to go back a version because for the record, Premiere 2024 SUCKS ASS. I have had scary issues with it driving up memory on my computer causing me to force quit every 5 mins. And last year it corrupted several projects. I hate 2024 and this allowed me to go back to the lovely 2023. Thank the lord/thank you friendly YouTuber.

These two downgraders do not work when converting a Premiere Pro 2023 file to be opened in Premiere 2019. I received a "this file may be damaged" or a "the project could not be loaded, it may be damaged or contain outdated elements" error, depending on which downgrader I use. Any suggestions???
