Hey Colin! Thanks for the informative video! The first time I tried to use this new version of Premiere Pro this messed me up for a minute... but I somehow figured it out and was able to make a project first and then go back and import the needed files with the media browser. I'd much prefer going this route. Thanks again for all of the videos your channel has and for sharing your expertise with the community! You are appreciated!!

Hi Colin! Just found you through KYD. Love the videos. They are very helpful. A problem I'm having is when I import a PNG it looks great initially but then when I view it in the program it's very pixelated. Can you point me to a video where you might discuss this? Thanks so much!

HELLO COLIN! Allways A pleasure to stop by your class! So you mean to say that our new Adobe Premiere 2023 will indeed import the video files that I shot with my Sony XDCAM onto an SD Adapter Card that was transferred to my SSD Capture Drive on my Windows PC?

Hey Colin! Thank you for going over the new features! I'm curious how you got your Miller columns for Windows. I remember you mentioning it somewhere but I don't recall which video it was.

Hi Colin. Thanks again for another tutorial. A loosely linked question. When all is imported and listed in the Project panel, is there a way to increase the size of the thumbnail preview at the top of the panel? It is uselessly small on a 4k monitor.

Can you upload the video clips in order of the time they were recorded?

Great stuff, I don’t mind a new import system. I edit on a live broadcast so I use both media browser and the new import workflow. I wish that you could copy the actual folder and not have to make a new bin in the new import workflow. That’s my only complaint about it.

But I am a complete beginner to the truce pro program. Great video to help, but unfortunately I have a problem when I import the photos, they are all too big, or it cuts them so that some photos are missing the head, or it cuts the photo in a way that does not serve the purpose. Otherwise, you show how the photos should be adjusted, but unfortunately you click so quickly that I can't see what needs to be done. Can you help me.
Thanks for your videos.

Hi Colin. I'm not sure if this is a bug...
But recently since since v.22+ importing folders directly from Finder / desktop by drag dropping.
It has a problem by omitting the folder and just importing the footage only, for folder with 1 piece of media in it.

Its fine if you have more than one piece of media.

Its slightly annoying as we then have to manually create the folder and rename it.

Have you encountered similar issues or faster workarounds on this?

Hello COLIN! Recently watched and extremely enjoyed your video tutorial! I just got a Sony XDCAM and discovered that I can put my SXS to SD card adapter directly into my card reader on my computer, transfer the files to my capture drive, the files show up as a folder called BRAV! Inside this fold is another folder called CLR! Isidebthis folder are lots of Sub folders containg the actual video files! I have to open each folder individually, Rename the save to a Capture location! Then when I go into Adobe I go into Media Browser, locate the capture drive and the files pop-up into thumbnails! This is too many extra steps and very time consuming!I What is the most effective way to import XDCAM footage into Adobe Premiere! What are your thoughts?

I cannot grasp why this new import mode got released so buggy and limited. I mean, you cannot even add a folder or save a folder structure to be at hand for each project! And the bugs are not so rare and difficult to spot. Why noone bothered to fix them before release? I honestly believe that premiere pro is still going because of the integration with other programs of the suit, like Illustrator, After Effects, XD and Photoshop. But even this integration is super flawed. Like we are on version 1.0. They should take their time to release a stable and fast version and build on that.
