how do i know which version ive got, Ive got the archer VR400, it's black in colour, i don't know the version.

I’m with sky but I am buying a gaming router how would I go about setting it up also do I need a modem or not

Once i plug the router and try to log into the wi fi with it's password, it says either the password is wrong or "can't access wi fi"
