What he meant by the braces hurting for two weeks was every time you adjust them they hurt for two weeks then your good until your next adjustment! And I can justify this I’ve had them for almost a year and a half and had cried from the pain. When I first started I noticed change during the first 2-3 appointments so in my opinion they are worth it! I’m almost finished with my treatment and very exited to get them off!

Mine only hurt whenever I had them tightened. I still remember the first day I got them. I was a freshman in high school and the people I sat with at lunched just laughed at me because I couldn't eat. Only one person stood up for me and that was because he had braces too and understood. I just had to get braces on chicken tender day, the best lunch our school had. Lol
