Message to all my bros and sisters who are or have got those braces .... I know that shit hurts 😫 yeah I know they hurt freaking alot coz I too have them but remember those spacers, expanded, wires, bands and aligners they all are just a quiet tough obstacle we have to live with for few months or years for that beutiful teeth u gonna have 😀 so don't worry when u feel its unbearable cry a bit it will relieve u but just remember never to give up ..

That numbing gel tip + warm salt water has been in heavy use this last week when I recently got a gum graft & the swelling caused my lip to develop an ulcer over a front bracket with the little stick part. That was worse than the graft site healing. It's mostly healed now, but the ulcer spot kept hooking on the bracket ;-;

i haver braces and i broke 6 brackets, a some tips
1. don't chew on any ice, or any gum, some freeze dried candy, or any gummy candies. may brake or bend brackets or wire.
2. eat freeze dried fruits like apple, bananas, pears, etc.
3. ask a ortho abt freeze dried candy or look it up.
4. stay away from biting any meatal items, will bend wires, brake brackets.
5. don't eat anything to crunchy, may brake brackets.
