This happened to me once at a flooded London Bridge station. All these people stood around not knowing what to do. I took my shoes and socks off and carried my kids through, one on each arm and shoes and socks in bag on wrist. I'm Gen X, it's what we do.

As kids we would have been floating in that damn water. Probably trying to surf or boat on the street.

If you don’t want to get your shoes wet you take them off and walk barefoot. Geesh. I tell my kids “Figure it out. You need to learn to be solution oriented.”

I don’t know if the two on the curb are Z or what, but as a gen X myself I can say that’s def us crossing the street without hesitation or bothering to look back! 😂

They are GenZ.... But us GenXers would literally take of our shoes and socks and walk across. And if we had jeans on we'd just role them up or even take those off (shamelessly)

OMG. Id be jumping in that. So much fun!!! I went to ASU. My sophomore year fall '95 we had a major monsoon. The courtyard of my dorm (The Pink Prison as it was lovingly called because of its architecture) was filling with water. I turned to my roommate and said let's go play. We went down ran, dove, and slid across the soaked grass like it was a slip-n-slid. Everyone looked at us like we were nuts! Then in true Gen X fashion, they all joined in. Before I knew it there were about 75 people playing in the massive courtyard that had become a kiddie pool. Oh and I have on white shorts and a punk t-shirt that were now brown and grass stained. It was AMAZING! ❤❤❤

Are you sure they are Millenials? They look too young. Most of us, Millennials, are in our 30s and early 40s now.
