If one gets killed 20 times with ease one shall try the way of the cheese 🙏

After trying every cheese method, I finally found that spamming the rivers of blood katana art with a mimic was by far the easiest way to beat her. Well, Shabriri's Woe helps too. Am happy : )

Getting on the rock is so much harder than he made it look

Thank you Tyrannicon, not for the method, but for telling me how to dodge that first explosion attack in the 2nd phase. Gets me everytime

Someone else said it in the comments too, but if it's an option for you - use Rivers of Blood, as highly upgraded as you can get it, and only ever use its Ash of War attack. Summon the Mimic Tear ashes (also as highly upgraded as you can), and basically just treat your summon like it's an IRL co-op partner rather than an NPC distraction. Don't just let it take all the damage, actually try to help it survive. Once you summon it, wait for it to start running toward Malenia and then try to get on her side/back and start attacking with the Ash of War. Any time you see Mimic Tear about to get attacked, go in for a Rivers of Blood Ash of War attack. She'll usually divert her attention to you, and then your Mimic Tear will begin attacking her again, and a lot of times you can get a really good back-and-forth assault situation going between you and the Mimic Tear that'll take down her HP pretty fast. If she targets you with that insane blade slashing combo though, you're pretty much fucked I think (your summon can take it like a champ though).

As soon as she starts her second phase, immediately run forward underneath her and just keep running toward the wall until she slams into the ground, she will miss you 100% of the time (like shown in this video). Then wait for the scarlet rot flower thing to disappear (your Mimic Tear should still be alive and can keep her distracted while you wait). Once it's safe, rush back in and basically just try to do the same thing you did in the first phase, just be aware of any time she goes in the air because those attacks will obliterate you - be ready to dodge and roll a lot when you see this happening.

I had the max amount of flasks already unlocked (I think). 11 Health, 3 Cerulean, and 1 Wondrous Physick. Took a decent number of attempts but when I beat her, I ended up only using 2 health flasks the entire fight, and all of the Cerulean flasks (and the 1 physick which I used for a temporary health and strength boost in phase 1). Mimic Tear survived almost the entire fight - think I only had to get in two Rivers of Blood Ash of War attacks by myself at the tail end of the fight.

I really needed this yesterday Mr Guru… Beat my head against this boss for about three hours but I did eventually get the win

For anyone wondering this still works

Also swarm of flies works great if you don't want to use the fallingstar beast jaw

I don't know why, but I keep hysterically laughing when the Guru talks about cheese, please tell me I'm not the only one having this reaction or I'm gonna start feeling really dumb XD

If anyone is still struggling after this video; I’ve found re-specing for arcane/dex, rivers of blood + mimic tear + spamming swarm of flies completely trivialises this fight :)

The best way I've found, without having to rely on an almost impossible jump, to kill her is the rivers of blood katana, blood flies, and a maxed out mimic. The bleeding affect is so strong you can kill her first phase in less then 3 minutes

If you're having trouble getting on top of the rock try walking up the first part of it slowly and then you can jump to get on top of the horizontal branch. Don't jump up the rock because it won't work

I beat this boss on my 4th try, use a mimic with swarm of flies and rivers of blood, the swarm of flies is really useful for her because it causes bleed and stuns her which allows u to pull off a rivers of blood combo while she is concentrating on your mimic

I cheesed her last night with mohgs spear and my mimic. I put on Shabriri's Woe talisman then summoned my mimic, then took off the talisman. She would mainly focus my mimic so I could use the spears ability and it just melted her. I also respected to have 80 arcane but I feel like the staff could be useful for cheesing

Thank you for this great cheese! I manage after many hours of trying to defeat this boss to beat her with this strategy. The only change I made, is that I used: Ash of War: Loretta slash attach to an Halebard to climb up to that branch easy, instead of Agheel Flame.
Was a bit hard to learn how to climb up to that branch, but after that was much easier. Even so, for me it was a struggle to beat her, because this is my first game like this.

I tried this unsuccessfully and for me the true cheese method was respec for Rivers of Blood, summoning mimic, and spamming the special attack (double hand + L2). I thought I'd be stuck on her forever and she went down in literally 3 minutes, it doesn't get much cheesier than that. I barely had to dodge or anything.... Helps if you have the blood loss attack boost talisman as well.

This is a sekiro boss in a Dark Souls game. A lot of enemies are, but this is 100% a sekiro boss. Even with max dex your character is painfully slower than everything.

My God, I must have fought her 100 times with different “cheese” methods before I finally beat her using your method. I should have gone with the Guru first but didn’t want to respec for the beast jaw. Black Knife Tiche was clutch for me. Love the channel - keep kickin’ the hell out of these cheating jack wagons!

You can use the Ash of War Loretta's Slash to reach the branch consistently if you don't meet the stat requirements for dragon breath attacks. If you use Loretta's War Sickle and don't have the required stats, you won't use any fp :)

Malenia is so hard, even the cheese need specific items & specific position.
Thank you Guru
