I missed a lot of red flags. In my defense I was 23, she put on a very good performance, and was introduced to her with the approval of my social circle. My dad was an actual narcissist that didn’t teach me what I needed to know.

Totally agree Doc. My relationship with the love of my life began very early-on with her waving loads of red flags in my face. I saw them as warning signs, yet thought it would be a short relationship. As time progressed, I forgot about them and the relationship developed to my greatest defeat, which I'm still suffering from today, which is 30 years since we first met. Be careful guys! Be very, very careful with your choice of a long-term relationship!
