The first-ever fish tank ecosystem experiment on the China Space Station was conducted during the Shenzhou-18 mission. An ecosystem of four zebrafish and hornwort plants was created. The zebrafish thrived for some 40 days, and their unique movements were observed in microgravity environment.

In microgravity experiment on fish indicate it can adapted in micro gravity environment experiment to survived but growth factor is Unknown still in comparison of earth gravity environment.
