That jellyfish is pretty much still alive. It still had its full vibrant color. When they’re dead they turn white/off white/ grayish color.

When i was 6 i went on a school trip to the beach and the principal strictly said not to touch any animals in the ocean, i found a "rock" and went to show my mom and she screamed PUT THAT DOWN NOW" it was actually a grey dead jellyfish.

As someone who’s been stung by a man of war jellyfish can confirm it hurts like a bitch. It was a bad summer.

Ah yes. The lion mane jellyfish. Did you know they are the largest jellyfish currently being able to reach a whopping 120ft in length

I did suffer a really big jellyfish sting when I was 15 and since then I always carry just a really small bottle of 20% vinegar acid in my backpack when I go to the beach. 20% vinegar acid destroys the jellyfish nettle that got into your skin. I still got a scar on my wrist because I haven’t treated that spot with that acid, and that was 16years ago. It reminds me of the oceans but if I hadn’t treated the rest, my whole arm would have been a big jellyfish nettle scar.

Just remember, jellyfish do not electrocute you they have very tiny needles that stab you.
