My old art studio still standing one of the few buildings along the broad river. It’s the smaller of two houses with red roofs you will see towards the end of building. My heart goes out to everyone who was affected in that whole area, chimney rock. Lake lure, bat cave, black mountain etc❤

NYer here, FL for 14 yrs. Remember Hurricane Sandy?? When NYC was flooded and the then Mayor Bloomberg was on TV asking for help. Yea, I rented a truck and a driver with generators, gas tanks and gasoline, , extension cords and heaters and drove them up to my Ex and Brother who were without heat or electric. Bloomberg told it like it was. The current situation and asked the American people for help. Where are the Governors of Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, What do the people need and where do you bring it??? Who Is Running The Show????

We were just visiting this area in August of this year, Mother Natures forces are quite powerful. I would hope that when we rebuild they put in infrastructure that can stand against a storm that can deliver this amount or rain in a mountainous region.
