How can they even rebuild some of this? So much widespread destruction, I've never seen anything like it.

It’s just dirt under those roads, built so close to the river. People act surprised that 100 year flood areas get flooded for the first time in their life. But it’s nature. We merely occupy these lands while it allows us. Put some respect on that rivers name.
