How To Perform A Gas Leak Test

Показать описание
It is important to check your Weber gas grill for leaks to keep grilling safe for everyone. The first leak test should be done before the first use of the grill, even if the grill was dealer assembled. After the initial leak test, you should perform one every time you disconnect and reconnect a gas fitting.
Here's how:
1. ALAWAYS REFER TO THE OWNER’S MANUAL that was provided with the purchase of your gas grill for exact steps.
2. Make sure there are no open flames when checking for leaks
3. Turn off ALL burners, and if available, side burner as well.
4. Mix soap and water together in a bowl
5. Turn on your gas supply
6. Wet your fittings with the soapy water at the gas source, and the grill connection
7. If bubbles form or grow, there is a gas leak
8. If you find you have a leak, turn off the gas and tighten the fittings
9. Repeat previous steps
10. If leak persists, turn off the grill and contact your Weber retailer - do not use the grill!
If you find you have no leaks, rinse down your fittings well with water to avoid corrosion.
Continue to check your grill for gas leaks after reconnecting a gas source.
