A mass search is on for 5 missing people from a small motor boat that seems to have been hit by a river cruise ship. reports of up to 250 people have come down ill on the P&O Ventura.

The cleaning and sanitizing SHOULD NEVER HAVE CHANGED. After Covid, everything became relaxed. People were not washing their hands entering the buffet and probably the restaurants. There needs to be more "washy, washy people" at the entrances.

I was recently on the Sapphire Princess where it was reported that over 100 people had Norovirus. Obviously, the ship institutes stringent hand washing policies and such, but when speaking to one of the girls that stands by the wash basins, as you enter the Horizon Court, she indicated that perhaps 50% of the people would still not "wash" their hands upon entry. I truly wish the captain under these circumstances would give these staff members the authority to not allow those people to enter; Period.

I used to move a motor yacht on the Ohio River. The radar will show buoys and even smaller snags. Not seeing a small craft is virtually impossible. Collision regulations are universal and someone may have neglected to be on watch.
