Thank you for clarifying this. The rapture was not taught by the early church. Those who were taken up were the ones who were killed, and those who were left were the survivors or remnants

I understood the tribulation as even though we would be present in the physical world for it, we would either have joy in Christ despite it, or be exempt from very serious parts of it. Much like the Hebrews were during the plagues of Egypt when Yahweh said he would not bring judgement to his people

I just finished a short series on my podcast about this very thing. Feel free to check it out. Being that this is a short clip, it could be taken multiple different ways. His key phrase is "before the Tribulation." The rapture is real, but it will happen at the end of the Tribulation, not before. If, on the other hand, he does not believe in the rapture at all, then I must disagree.

Regardless of his view, his main point holds true, though: Christians must remain faithful until rhe end.

(Personal opinion)I feel everyone in the west needs to understand stoicism as a practical frame of understanding themselves and their place in objective reality in order to transition from 'spiritual milk into meat meat'when it comes to following Christ as a disciple (that's what helped me personally understand better in the personal journey so far back to Christ)

Yeah that would require faith and I don't have any faith so unless you have hard evidence that what you're saying is true and you can prove it to me I'm sorry I guess I'm going to perish with the rest of the heathens because I really don't understand how Faith works and where you obtained faith and how you obtain Faith it's like just saying well just believe me because I said so .

It says we are not appointed to wrath
