I mentioned this to the technician before I got my eyebrows done. I wrote it down on the intake form before my appointment, but she still wasn't aware of the information. She thank me for telling her and said the skin reaction would have been ugly. She did my eyebrows with tweezers instead of wax.

Or you can end up with second and third degree burns on the eyebrows! That's what happened to me and I actually Filed a lawsuit against the nail salon.... I won my lawsuit! But found out much later it wasn't there fault it was the fact I was using Retin A! oh well....that was a long time ago. I only get my eye brows threaded now, because I can't do wax if you use Retin A!

I wound up losing some nose skin after using a nose strip on nose when I'd been using retin-a on it.

Learnt that lesson the hard way! Had an eyebrow wax, and the wax took away a few slivers of skin with the hair! Luckily the skin healed quickly, and I took note to stop using SA cleanser a week before my appointments 😅 no problems since!

This literally happened to me two days ago. I ripped off some layers of skin between my eyes and lips. It's definitely because of the differin gel. I treated it like a burn soaking with a milk and water mixture to soothe the sting then keeping it from scabbing with Vaseline. Now I'm using the Nivea to protect it until it's fully healed. It's gotten significantly better.

Dr dray, please make a video on recommended drugstore products to heal post inflammatory hyperpigmentation that is not related to acne.
