Her black outfit here is one of my faves in the movie. The pompoms on the end of the fur stole floating in the wind are so fun, and the leather bustier fits Annie like a glove. Also the purse is so cute and tiny.

Love that Miranda subtly looks up and down at Andy’s outfit and realizes the similarities in their outfit and how much Andy has grown. Anne and Meryl have both mentioned that wide collar neck was done intentionally to reflect that 🥺✨✨✨

In this scene Andy's confidence was at its peak because she was finally comitted to her job a 100%

I love how Miranda looks her up and down as she's babbling on about a conspiracy like that's her only concern.

Both dudes were yucky. Nate wasn’t supportive, he mocked her job and shamed her choices.

Christian kept hitting on her when he knew she was taken, and was low key sexist when he talked about Miranda. Plus, he had this big ego attitude that (personally) makes him unappealing.

Andy needed to be alone for a while before finding her equal. A real man who could offer emotional support, who could cheer for her, and who could talk to her whenever she was in doubt about her job and her choices.

As annoying as he is he is actually right, she is a big girl and she'll be fine, she knows the business and she would have done exactly the same thing. Plus she was so abonimably rude when Andie tried to help her, at a certain point she can't expect any better

I got a slimy vibe from Christian and Nate was a pill so neither were the ones tbh

There were no freesias. That was Miranda's way of shutting up Andrea's rambling.

I always thought that this movie could have one more detail in it's ending. Andy wanted to become a writer, and miranda says that on page 6 there'll be sexist comments about her marriage. The movie would have ended more fabulously if they showed miranda reading the magazine page 6 and finding an article about her, written by andy, which states how she's the boss lady and the smartest in the room and calls out sexism, the line by Andy "if Miranda were a man, everyone would praise her work ethics" holds strong with this ending. This would satisfy both the equations well, Andy became a writer, and Miranda is well established as the boss lady. Anyways they did a good job with the ending.

This scene shows andy does have a problem looking out for herself. If she said nothing, and Miranda was replaced Andy would have reaped every and any benefit. Instead she chose a boss who didn't care.

Andy needed to be on her own and just liked that another guy like Christian was paying attention to her. He was well dressed, rich, and well known.

Miranda always knew what was going on and had her plan. You don't last as long as she has (i.e. Anna Wintour) if you're not always on top of such things.

We all know at this point Miranda isn't worried about Jacqueline but even if she didnt know I would not be surprised she would still bring up the freesias
