Yoga To Gain Perspective is a 35 minute mindful yoga practice to assist you in creating a rhythm of balance and ease. Practice yoga asana, awareness and conscious breathing to bring energy to the body and peace of presence to your mind. This session is designed to remove any irritability or stress caused by change or outside circumstances. It will also bring a gentle decompression to the spine and neck, as well as invite more mobility in the shoulders and hips.

Remove stress, open your mind, anchor in your center so that you can be kind and serve others.

Thirty-five minutes, oh no. Don't worry, just GO! Seriously, this is a nice practice so do not let the length scare you off. I felt the second half went rather quickly. But more importantly than that, this one has never failed to leave me feeling good and ready for the day. Meditate day 18. 775 days in a row.

OMG! Today for the first time ever I stepped into a lunge without guiding my foot forward!!! I have no confidence when doing yoga because I know my poses and transitions are terrible. But I show up on my mat every single day hoping with time and practice I will get better! And today I did something, something small but it was something, thank you so much Adriene and the rest of the YWA family!

Over the weekend I miscarried and missed two days of YWA for the first time since Jan 1. I want to thank you, Adriene, for training me every day to think more graciously about myself and to make room for my humanity. On Tuesday I resumed practice, and today, I felt like myself, and I even achieved a new posture for me, the side plank. My day 3, content with starting over and meeting myself where I am.

I'm so glad I found your channel I'm only 11 years old and I think yoga comes in very helpful I'm already finding that my mind is clearer i have better posture and I'm more flexible I think everyone should do yoga no matter how old they are

I gained a new perspective on just how dusty my floors where while I was doing this practice so I did my housework straight after! Now I feel twice as wonderful 🧹🧹

I started practice with a bit of a gastric flareup but finished it now feeling rather good. This was perfect!

My battery died during that very last extended child’s pose so I just ended up chilling out there a little longer and then doing some poses that I felt like doing. It might be bad for your battery to let it go all the way to zero but it was a very interesting experience to have to get myself to end the practice :)

Wow Adriene thank you 😊 that was amazing ! Before I got on to the mat I was really sad, 😔 and struggling with a family member . But after doing that yoga practice I feel renewed and hopeful, thank you Adriene and Benji for brightening my day . ❤ I'm definitely going to put this video into my favourites list, and do it again next time I feel without hope or even if I just want to change things up . During this practice, I overheard some bad news from the other room about my dishwasher: we don't know when they will replace it, which is stressful because we have family in town this weekend. Instead of pausing the video to insert myself into the drama, I decided to stick with this practice. I was able to put the dishwasher debacle (mostly) out of my mind until the end and feel like I'll be able to avoid freaking out now that the session is over and I'm feeling stretchy and good. I usually stress over irritations like this that I can't control, so this is a big deal for me. Thank you as always, Adriene and Benji!

Easter Saturday 2023. I could do the majority of the moves. Really feeling it in my arms. I must work on my breathing. I am sure the flu has reduced my capacity to breath in. Never the less. I Did the Full Half hour. Feeling hot refreshed and clear of mind. It's been hard to get my mojo back. Thank you Adrienne. You make me feel as if we are together in my room with Benji. Thank you. Whenever a video is longer than 20 min I get really scared and procrastinate my yoga for that day. But I ended up on the mat afterall so that's great! Proud of everyone who showed up.
