use skimmed milk powder if u cant afford protein powder it is also somewhat lean protein option for vegetarians (10 calories per gram of protein)it is also a complete protein and contain all amino acids its bioavaibility is also pretty good

Vegetarian source of protein is typically called as class 2.. mostly its complex carbohydrates with protein in less bioavailable form.. animal meat and eggs are the best complete source of protein.. but if you are a vegetarian, then its alright
