I prayed and prayed for a great woman and several of your tips were in my prayers. so my tip is to pray because God delivered me such an amazing woman and 14 years later I still get excited to open my eyes in the morning to see her. I can add to one of this and say it is DANGEROUS to submit to a man unworthy of submission. Aka an abuser. I was submissive and my ex abused me physically. WAIT and keep your heart close to God without divulging too much or getting too into someone TOO soon.

I can not speak for others, but we just celebrated our 59th wedding anniversary, and I got the best one 59 years ago. The rest of you will have to pick from what is left. She knows it to because she introduces me as her lucky husband. She is so right. LOL God must have picked her for me because I could not have done as well. She is not perfect, because none of us are, but she is way beyond all my expectations. She is my help mate, my soul mate, my lover, and my best friend.

Who could ask for more. I am so blessed. We were high school sweet hearts and were married as soon as she graduated. I was a year older. She was 17, and I was 18. Now we are inseparable.

I've watched a few of these and have really enjoyed them, especially since what he says lines up w the Bible. I am a woman and am still praying for a man who believes and loves/obeys the Lord. I don't get offended about God wanting me to be submissive to my husband (once I am married), because I hope to find a man who is following God. God expects husbands to be submissive and obedient to Him and naturally the wife should follow her husband and submit to him and God. God expects husbands to love their wives as Jesus loves the church. Both husband and wife have instructions from the Lord in their relationship and since God created man and woman He knows what both need to do inorder for the relationship to be full of joy and not end in divorce or fall apart.

I can still remember when my ex-boyfriend told his friend that I was never his ideal woman but I don't dwell on that anymore, it just hurts everytime I'm reminded about it.

One of the big things in my wife that made me feel like she was the one was her gentle spirit. The way she treats children and animals. I saw a mother and an aunt in her before she became either. She was so genuine with the way she cared for children and animals. This may sound corny, but it really made me look at her in a different light than my exs. That same gentleness was felt in the relationship. All the women I dated before her..yeah they lacked that gentleness. That caring spirit. Now when I watch her with our son and pets, I stand back in awe and say "thank You, Lord. I could not ask for a more loving woman." My wife was also my best friend before we got married. I could.spend hours upon hours with her. It really didn't matter what we did. We just connected. We would spend hours on the phone. We would talk till one of us passed out. So I will say it like this to all of my single brothers out here watching this video. Wait until you are certain! The biggest thing for me in considering her to be my wife was her love for Jesus. Our relationship would not work if He was not in our marriage.
