My husband...we were in Acts class...he was talking about going and seeing a movie that was coming out ...and I said, "I want to see that, you should take me." I then freaked out because I was joking and thought he was going to think I was making a move. He then turned around and said, "wanna go?"

SOMEONE FINALLY AGREES! my own dad doesn't really agree with me on this, but I refuse to date "just for fun" because that would inevitably end with a compromise of my standards to maintain my purity, and heartbreak because the relationship would never work.

Probably wont get your response but on your opinion with how "a woman relates with her family" and if she respects her father... that's a touchy subject. Not a lot of women either had a dad growing up or were treated right by their father/Male figure in their life. So how can you respect someone who didn't respect you first?

Idk why half of you are mad about a girl going to workout, like, if you want a good Christian guy who is also attractive, you can't be lazy and unfit. Now, that being said, he didn't say have a 6 pack and have the legs of a supermodel. Everyone has their own version of being healthy. Do what you can, and just like you don't want to put effort into your body and be conscientious of that and get a really unfit and unhealthy guy, guys want the same thing. It's having the same goals, similar ideas about life. It does manifest itself physically too.

I'm so glad I'm mature enough to realize that just because four guys in a video say something is attractive to them doesn't mean it is to everyone and they're allowed to have preferences. They really should change the title to "What These 4 Christian Guys Look For In Girls" because I'm sure there are other Christian guys out there who disagree with their list. Girls who watched this and feel insecure, especially younger girls, please remember this is just their opinion and not fact. Every guy like every girl likes different things and just because you may not fit their criteria doesn't mean you're going to end up alone forever. Also, I find it kind of funny at the end they say that all creative guys or guys who lean on that side will think that way like...creativity is having original ideas. If the guy is creative there is no way he will agree with everything one person says and he does agree his reasoning might be different.

I personally think some of these are a little materialistic. For instance, I'm trying to spend my currently little money wisely, meaning heavy working out would mean more food and more money. I do stretch and get walking in when I can. I do think being as healthful as monetarily possible is good though. My priorities for instance personally are savings for debt and other things and my father who just got diagnosed with cancer. Some of my money will be spent on going to see him in another country. I think the matters of the heart, whether the person is in repentance, deliverance, and has been healed by the Lord, will be far better foundational blocks. I too at some point aim to be more healthy and fashionable by getting some new clothes when I can afford that, some more modest, but I think there are priorities that sometimes come first. I do however appreciate Christian guys showing what it is they are looking for, and it does give us a mind inside a man.

This video is so on point! Because I never actually thought deep into “date to marry” but then (few months or so ) I started thinking about it and was like. Well yeah that’s so true, if once you just like a person and don’t see yourself marrying them then why? Why waste yours and their time. So I totally agree on that!

I love the comment in the beginning about worship. Worship is a huge part of my relationship with God and it has brought incredible freedom to my life! I want my future man (whoever he may be) to see me worshiping God and know my heart is genuine for Him. The same goes for him as well. I want to be able to look up during worship and see a man so in love with God that he doesn't care what people may think about his hands being raised and tears streaming down his face.

I think some of this was decent advice but I have been married for 10 years ( with my husband 14 years) with 4 kids and a lot of these “wish list” things change as you get older. What you should be concerned with is how kind and compassionate she is, how she talks to and about others, her goals and ambitions in life. Health and fitness is great when you are young, but life changes things. Kids change things. Priorities change. If a women takes care of herself and isn’t vain and is also focused on others then you have a women worth having. Attraction is great but as the Bible says looks fade. Think of who you spiritually and mentally want to grow old with. Also think of how it would be to have kids with her.

I'm a newbies subscriber, truely I don't know how I got here but I am thankful and see hope that there are men out there glorify God first more than anything. I grew up in a Christian family, and for real lots of temptation. We have to know our purpose. That being said, faith and values comes first! thank you for showing the love of God. Cheers!

Also, it's not always about the weight--I forgot to comment on the video on this. If a woman is healthy she doesn't have to worry about weight. Different men, Christian men, definitely look for a variety of women. We're not all the same.
