I really needed to hear this today. It's nice to have someone acknowledge that starting a business takes time and is even more challenging if you're starting from a place of financial hardship.

It's easy to say, just start with $50 and turn that into $100 and so on, but that's difficult in reality when you have to keep putting money back into the business for inventory, crosslisting software, mailing supplies, etc. You're not making a profit overnight.

It's a breath of fresh air to hear you say it's not recommended to start a business when your back is against the wall when I've so often heard otherwise. So many people say that's when you'll discover what you're truly capable of. But whatever you're doing to make money, whether that's writing a book or starting an eBay store, it's so much more stressful if you have to put pressure on yourself to make a profit immediately.

This is what's so beautiful about our country. If you learn from the right people and work very hard, consistently, you eventually will come out on top. I expect to not pay myself a single penny for an entire year from my amazon business. Because I know from learning from people like you, and Romer, that in 2 years? 3 years? I'll have plenty to keep, re-invest, and grow with.

With amazon it took me 8 months to start as they couldn’t sort my account steve but I never gave up . Wanted to but didn’t . Look forward to course roxy x

We started reselling 8 years ago. Steve was one of the first YouTubers we followed.
We started with men's tee shirts only and $200 to invest.
Success came quickly for us. Ebay was so easy, even a cave man could do it.
We were Top Rated Power Sellers at 90 days selling around 300-400 items each month. Sales, that first year, were $3-$5k per month without even trying very hard.
With experience and some fine tuning we are doing very good today. We have moved on from tee shirts to hard goods with an average sale price just under $100.
