After 8 months of suffering from reflux in my throat I started diaphragmatic breathing in a 4/8 rhythm After watching your video. Reflux was gone within a week, amazing. Thank you so much

I'm surprised i run into this video. I started to suffer from acid reflux. I tried everything but no help. I prayed and asked God what am I doing wrong. I felt an impression on my mind like someone was talking to me. "It's your posture, " I was like, my posture! How can that cause my acid reflux? Anyway, i start sitting better. Practicing better breathing. Eat slower and small amount of food, and I'm feeling much better. Thank God!

For those needing some extra proof points, studies show that diaphragmatic breathing exercises do increase the pressure of your Lower Oesophageal Sphincter (LES). The exercise that was recommended to me was to inhale for four seconds and exhale for eight seconds (using the belly breathing the man in the video is talking about).Three five-minute sessions a day.

He's right, I am always sitting in a crunched over position with poor posture. I have acid reflux especially at night while sitting there watching the youtubes.

What an absolute genius. Had to come and comment here to thank you. You've helped me to cure my R-CPD (which also caused/exacerbated GERD in turn) and I'm hoping this leads to a revelation for that disorder as well. Your video was a huge light bulb moment for me.

R-CPD is a condition which renders you unable to belch. I'd only found out this condition had a name and it was the cause of all my issues a couple of weeks ago. Within two days of watching your video, I'd managed to alleviate the pressure from my diaphragm and wound up inducing my first burps with heat therapy on my abdominal region, then leaning onto various objects to help my diaphragm to give a proper push to force the UES to open up. Now I can just burp on command without doing anything! What an incredible and vital organ the diaphragm truly is. It's like the central hub of the entire body and affects circulatory, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, and even nervous systems alike.

I can't thank you enough for this revelation, and I hope it can help many others in the future. I am preaching about this constantly on the R-CPD subreddit. What an amazing person you are! Truly can't express my gratitude enough! Years and years of suffering is now behind me. I am currently refeeding and continuing to heal. You've cured me and fixed my life. You are a saint, and an incredibly intelligent person.

You are not going to believe had really bad gerd for over a year now. Most of the time I also get spasms in my lower abdomen, similar to hiccups. It's so annoying. Can't sleep etc. Difficult to exercise. I've had them(spasms hiccups from GERD)this time for over a day and a half. I watched this video, tried the simple first exercise, and my spasms / hiccups went away immediately after the first or second deep breath. First came a big dry heave. Then gone!! Unbelievable! This absolutely works! What a relief. Thanks so much!!

The biggest problem is that the LES is weak and doesn't close properly. If it gets strong and closes properly at all times, gerd's gone. No acid backs up, no erosion on the oesophagus, no heartburn

Thanks so much. for the first time in a long time I have slept without my severe heartburns . I always had to suck a lozenge gen to cool my throat while sleeping . The diaphragmatic exercise is so effective . I’m so relieved, thought I was going to live with this forever. I’m so grateful🙏

I believe this and it does work. I have been using these methods daily to some degree and it really has helped. With the Covid pandemic happening, many of us are sitting a great deal, more than normal. Only makes sense that contributes to these issues! Thanks for the video.

I started suffering from severe acid reflux about 4 months now. It a real nightmare most times just hoping it doesn't turn out critical. The breathing exercises makes a lot of sense. I will work on that. Thank you.

Please also make a video on LPR / silent reflux that affects the throat to the mouth to the tip of the tongue. It’s really difficult to deal with it!

I recently have stomach originating spasms/palpitations which are earily similar to and I think heart palpitations. Probably the epicenter of a lot of symptoms. Also have acid reflux. Doctors are oblivious to this

This is so good! Much better than taking meds, like you said. My body couldn’t handle the meds and actually felt better when I stopped. Thank you!

Breathingng methods and stuff does work, it just takes so long for everything to kick in. Last night I was struggling for about 4 hours trying to keep the acid down because it kept coming up. Around about 4 a.m. I finally got it to stop completely so I can rest

Your understanding is wrong. But there is truth in what you say. My posture is very good pretty much all the time. I'm very conscious of it even when i eat i try not to bend. The hearthburn comes from the stomach acid in your stomach that travels up and the problem is not that it's tight, but the fact that its loose. This is due to nervs not working and low stomach acid, which keep the valve open. So through those exercises you will make them stronger and get the nerves alive again. Considering that the diaphragm is a muscle and the stomach is a muscle, the will start working together exactly at the junction there. The picture shows the anatomy beautifully. I had a revelation.
