hold the weight on the same side as your forward leg. this will put more emphasis on your glutes and your core

I seen another one where the guy explains 10% of weight should be on back leg and 90% of weight on front leg. Also front leg should be in a 90° angle

BSS are always part of my leg day! Forward for glute emphasis and upright for quads... I will also begin with 3 sets of body weight only before dumbbell. I will extend my stationary leg out a bit further, hinge forward then squat slowly. I keep my arms forward for balance as I squat down. This burns, activates your glutes and quads while giving you a bit of stretch. Then I add the weights! I will perform this exercise on a bench or smith machine...

Can you do a short for a cable pull through Hack/Proper form? not sure how far to be away from the machine. I feel it in my glutes and hammies and then after about 6 reps my lower back starts hurting. Also thank you so much! This has been so helpful. I’m on week 4 of Shred 2.0 guide. LOVE IT!
