Watermelons are great, you could also cut it in half and then scoop it out with a ice cream scoop or with a spoon if you are eating it by yourself

You look at the holes at the top and bottom of the watermelon if they are really tiny it’s gonna taste great and Ofcourse you knock on it so see if it’s hollow

You're supposed to pick the ugliest one you can find because that means that it's juicy and sweet. I don't know about the hollow sounds of it but I know it should be ugly almost like it's been in the sun a little too long.
