Drink lots of water, sleep on your side or with your chest/back slightly inclined and do cardio exercises before bed. These things have helped me, also nasal strips that opens my nose and improves airflow.

if this happens to u, first sit up or stand, after you may be hot so get out of covers or sweater or anything if needed. then after that get a drink of water. slowly try falling back asleep! this helped me a little

I am scared to sleep because when I’m in the state of being awake and falling asleep my breathing pretty much stops and I start panicking and I shoot up in my bed and have to start walking around to get my breathing in check. Eventually I get so sleepy I can’t stay awake anymore and that’s how I pretty much fall asleep everyday.

Err would be better if we were given tips on how to minimize the effects as opposed to the causes.

When I sleep sometimes, I feel like I'm trapped and feel closter phobic even tho there's so much room in my house, the only way to fix this issue for me is by going outside and getting fresh air but this just repeats again and again every night

When I lay down to sleep I hold my breath and they abruptly gasp for air and shoot up from bed.

I found out about mewing and heard your spine should be in good condition so I tried sleeping on my back and now I have a double chin. I couldn't really lie flat because I couldn't breath that way, so I had to overcome sate by slightly extending my head forward while I was laying in my back. It's harder to put my tounge in the right place now, and harder to breathe even when I'm not sleeping. Its like my tounge is always in the way now. I am never sleeping on my back again!

everone has commented the same thing
i also have the same problem
i analysed sleeping on ur back is the main reason of this problem
and sitting whole day on ur back can cause this
just be in an erect position
while sitting in a day
and at night sleep towards ur right side avoid sleeping on ur left side as the heart gets more weight of ur body that can cause harm to heart
avoid sleeping on ur back and ur abdomin up
do it for 3 days and u will feel a considerable change..
