I like to think of it as "Hades wasn't a total dick" and that makes him one of the best out of that pantheon. The bar is in the damn floor and they're all still under it. Especially Zeus.

Interesting footnote about Minthe.

Some versions say she was his first love until he met Persephone,

And apparently the main reason Persephone turned her into mint wasn’t because she had a thing with Hades, but because Minthe declared herself more beautiful than Persephone.

Friendly reminder it was Zeus who set up the kidnapping so even the main bad act of Hades is still Zeus' fault.

To be fair in some iterations of the myth it was Aphrodite who casted a spell on Hades to fall in love with Persephone, so that's why he kidnapped her in the first place

Hades is the eldest brother, he does seem to have a conscious and care for others but still does messed up stuff, just less since he got impulse control

In the first version I heard, Minthe literally JUST lusted after Hades (and maybe tried to get with him)? But nothing actually became of it. And Persephone was so jealous just off of that, she turned her into the mint plant. 😂 idk which version this is but I definitely think it’s the funniest.
