Nothing really matters tbh if its a myth or not. Because it does LOOK thicker. You cannot always go around people explaining its just a blunt tip. First thing they/we notice is that yeah it does look thicker.

Not true for me it grows back darker and thicker that's why I prefer wax cuz it pulls the hair out from the root instead of the shaver cutting the hair

I’ve found that most of the time, the reason it comes back more prominent is because it’s hair that hasn’t been exposed to the sun at all, so it’s less bleached..
