I always go semi permanent so it doesnt do all that. Go semi permanent green and just keep adding more dye every time it fades. And if you're tired of it you can either wait until it fades completely or dye it red 🙂 its perfect

haha high school me had green highlights which faded into a pastel light green.. Had my hair dyed brown with a purple ombre. When that faded I had unicorn lookin ass hair with the brown, faded green, faded purple to lavender, and blonde-ish strands a bit.

ohh thats exactly what i was looking for. i want to go back to natural color but rn my hair is pastel green (pure dye residue that wont go away even after months)

Not all green fades to muddy, I had a mint color from brown hair, yes it wasn’t as easy to go blue, but it turned to mermaid type colors, so keep that in mind

If you go to a good supercuts, they can get any color out easy with minimal issues. They got out green with this new hair treatment completely in less than 40 mins.

I’ve been dark green for 3+ years now! It definitely stains the hair like nobody’s business and in my experience it often fades much lighter and more yellow rather than that “muddy” color even when my hair lifts to a platinum blonde !

The thing is, i had Green peekaboo hair. We dyed it brown (my natural hair colour), and it stayed for a while. Then it washed out, and i still had the green. After it got out a bit, we dyed those parts red, it washed out and was green. Then recently we made it Purple, and you could see the green through it. I loved my green hair, but its really annoying to get it out.
