It worked, even though I skipped one step that wasn't accepted. I just spent 5 "flipping" days trying to solve the bsod problem that started with and ended with the one listed above. I searched the internet far and wide ---I ran diagnositics --- I bought a new SSD, reformatted, removed old hard drive, bought software and cloned the old hard drive. and STILL it would not boot. One more search of this exact error code brought me to this video and MIRACLE of MIRACLES -- It works now just fine. THANKS to a Brilliant (probably old)

Great tutorial! I just wanted to let everyone know that bootrec was broken in 1709 and is still not working in 1803 so you need a 1607 disc to follow the steps!

If you are still having access denied when typing fixboot and what DoubleDee had said. Try reformating your drive to NTFS. That would help fixing Windows 10 boot for you.
