The Best Builds For Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree
In this Elden Ring video, we're gonna be talking a bit more about Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and I want to take a look at how to prepare for the dlc in a bit of a different way. We know that Attack Power will take a hit in some form similar to Sekiro, but there may be ways around this.

Those twin Gargoyles were my greatest battle. I kept going in, getting wiped, then go level up 20 levels, come back get wiped. Lol. Man

At some point I realized that I wasn't listening to you because I was too focused on your gameplay footage so I had to rewind again to listen

My favorite part of the new DLC is getting to watch more Fextralife videos on builds.

I'm going with a godslayer/blackblade build that mainly uses incantations for the resistance buffs

I refuse to use the dragonfly wing due to it looking so stupid

I highly recommend an allround "build" for the first playthrough of the dlc, cause with all the new stuff, weapons, spells, ashes of war... first thing you want to do, is try them out, in wich case, an extremly specialist build will bring you right back to renalla an respec your character

I’m definitely doing my first arcane strength build for the DLC…nice juicy loot items for days. I’m definitely farming that good lookin armor for myself😎

I am thinking i am going to go in with your noble swordsman build. Easily breaks enemies and generally doesn’t give a crap about who is resistant to what

Just wanted to say I love your build videos. From the launch of Elden Ring I've taken inspiration from these builds to create my own thing. My main character I will be taking into the DLC is a lightening dragon blood dancer. I've experimented with other builds with new characters after beating the game but I love my creation. Thanks for the hard work you put into these builds. Can't wait to see what comes in Shadow of the Erdtree.

Great points dude! I plan to have my main 300+ PVE character & a backup level 150 character prepared with larval tears at the ready should adjustments be needed.

We all know that whatever happens, Miyazaki will still have some tricks up his sleeves.

One thing I really want to see is more weapons or spells that has the frenzy status effect on it because I love all the frenzy items in the base game but there were so little to work with

The noble swordsman has been my favorite build. So simple yet so powerful.

Started back up again and going with your Blasphemous Herald build. I also speculate Holy will be at least more effective than it currently is in the base game, and being able to switch from Fire and Holy seems like it will be a strong and versatile build to go into SOTE with

It’s fun to think about the possibilities of the DLC. It has starting fresh and trying new things. Great video as always 💪

Nice informative video as usual!

I havent heard much yet about how, having the new sekiro-like damage progression system, the best use of extra lvls will possibly be in the form of HP, Stamina and Mind.

Also, it COULD be that the damage enhancement works in such a way that is not a % increase in dmg (and corresponding incr in Boss HP) but more of a % filter to a fixed dmg reductiont he bosses may have applied in the dlc. Like so, the interesting "buff" on status ailments would be mitigated, as the bosses would not have higher hp pools, but more of a Dmg Reduction filter you can reduce by progressing through.

Great speculation, waiting for the martial arts build later after DLC from you!

I think this advice is as good as it can possibly get, given our state of knowledge about the DLC. Thanks, I didn't really consider status and poise-breaking so much previously.

Holy damage seems like a big gamble though, the lore gave me the impression it would stay strong through the base game but that didn't pan out.
