One talisman I always forget to mention in the “crimson seed talisman”. It boosts your healing flask by 20% and it can be just as good as certain damage negation talismans. Other good ones to boost neutral game will be the erdtree favour, green turtle talisman and great jars arsenal. Feel free to leave your talisman recommendations.

Out of all the channels covering DLC builds yours make the most sense. They are all built around early game items you discovered in the preview. Only criticism is you have the worst fashion souls sense

From is notorious for making its DLC enemies & bosses either highly resistant or immune to all schools of magic & status effects. I’m going in with a strength tank.

One thing I would change up is your stormblade Nagakiba build. Nagakiba is a great weapon because of how long it is. However, it has base katana bleed buildup. What I recommend is to use the Flamberge with Bloodflame as it has significantly higher bleed buildup.

I have no clue if it will ever come up in the dlc but I made sure to grab miquellas needle from Millicents quest line on the character I’m taking to the dlc.

Everyone is saying to have your character at 150, but if your me i say doubt that and farm your character to at least 300 you got plenty of time to do it, if your using the Mohgwyn Palace farming area (Palace Approach Ledge-Road)

BTW, for the SoNaF, try the Rennala hat. 3 INT at this level is 6.67% more, which is more than the 2% you gain from the Spellblade set. Of course it might not scale linearly, but it likely still outperforms it. Also helps the seal.

My build going in right now is a lvl 100 destined death themed build. Main weapons are the Godslayer Greatsword and Black Knife, with all the black flame incantations as well as a few generic body buffs. I'm using the godskin stitcher and peeler as alternate weapons to try any cool ashes of war. My idea is that this type of damage is consistently good the %HP burn, without having the potential to DPS cheese bosses like my arcane or intelligence builds can. I also think there's a good chance that Gloam Eyed Queen/ Destined Death ends up being important in this DLC for lore reasons so hopefully the build ends up aligning with that.

It really is just play however you want with whatever build you want. Collect a handful of larval tears and now nobody needs to worry abt anything

I got 2 builds I'll be taking into the DLC, 1: a roar based STR build with Godfreys axe and 2: a str/ARC build with Mogh's Sacred Spear and Marai's Executioner for bleed-immune enemies.

The first build I'm doing is 56 Dex/69 Faith for Godslayer's GS and Blackflame and Frenzied flame spells with also 17 arc for dragon communion and morgott's cursed sword as many weps and spells require that 17 breakpoint but scale good off dex too, and dex will likely be what most Light GSs use. I personally go to about Lv200 since I prefer PvE solo, and I'll allow myself to go to Lv250 once the DLC has been entered as the game loses some impact for me when you don't need runes. I do also have a faith arc character ready, and pure int as well and I am working on Faith/Int.
