For those wondering how long it might take to complete one of the builds, it took me about 7 hours to unlock all of the items on build 3 as a brand-new player. I am however only level 31.

i think pally style build is nice you can easily still use bows sword sheild then have some heals and buffs on the side and lightning spear then you can build pretty much how ever you want i like beefing up my hp and getting enough stam to use some heavier armor i feel like its very new friendly because you play "as intended" by focusing on your melee gameplay most but like i said you can also heal and buff and remove status effects witch can be super useful later on and if you use mimic tear it will be very tanky and you you can also switch him to caster if you like with the same build

Colossal weapon build is not for beginners, in my opinion. You're slower than most bosses you face and so must time your shots and rolls better than most beginners are able.

Following up after my first ten hours. I have never played a game where every single enemy you face has a more varied moveset than you do and can combo you even though you can’t return the favor. I have a jump attack, a light, strong and Ash of war attack with a few spells, that’s it. I can’t lock in with a 6-7 hit combo like they can do to me, maybe I’ll be able to later?

What would you say is the best rn and what should I play because im already struggling with margit. I killed it with the bleed dog summon. Now I want to try a new build good for me as a beginner

sorry, but greatsword and double katanas are terrible early game builds for beginners, they have very small base damage and require hours and hours of grinding to even get upgraded to +12. Compare them to winged scythe, moonveil, golden halberd, sword of night and flame...those have way higher base damage and can be upgraded to +6 right away

I think mage will get me furthest but its also the most boring build melee u can switch too so many different weapons mage always is spells and a staff so my question do the spells get boring

First time ever playing a souls game, hated being weak and grinded to level 85 before taking on godrick and the rest of the story. Tried grafted blade greatsword, and uchigatana/reduvia bleed build so far and im still getting wrecked in stormveil castle

What should I do after level 40 on the samurai build. Should I keep the same weapons until the very end of the game? Should I just upgrade endurance a little bit, and then vigor and dex the rest? I have no clue what to do after that

For the bleed build why not use the Nagakiba in the main hand? It has longer range and higher bleed damage. It’s easier to find early game (yes by killing the Samurai guy)
