I went with dual wielding the uchi and wakizashi for aesthetics. They powestance together despite the wakizashi being a dagger. And you can parry with it. For armor I wear the samurai set but with the Kaidan chest. The wolfskin gives it that Warlord feel because it looks like the overcoats samurai commanders wear. But the preceptor robe also works as it looks like a yukata with a cape draped over it.

I want them to add the ability to store levels at rennala, so if im level 300+ i can delevel to level 150 and pvp without being at a level that makes match making much more challenging.

Thats the build that makes gameplay the most fun for me, you actually have to doge attacks and battle and it is not a bad build at all, highly recomend

Excellent build, i made a similar build but with about 8 less dex so i could get 15 faith (plus 10 from physik) and cast golden vow, bloodflame blade, and flame grant me strength. Death!

Since poise is so meh in this game you could also use the lightning scorpion charm for 12% more damage if you don't mind taking 10% more damage. You can typically offset that pretty easily by just eating boiled crab, though.

I've done something similar to this. I call it the "Ronin". Basically, I have:

High Str
High Dex
High Endurance
A 40 Vigor limit
20 Mind for frequent use of Weapon Arts
Low Equipment Load
Skeletal Armor Headpiece
Confessor Chestpiece
Any matching dark colored gauntlets and greaves (can be of the same set)
A Quality Nagakiba with Piercing Fang
A Quality Uchigatana with Unsheathe
A Parrying Wakizashi
(Optional) A Quality Cross-Nagitana with Sword Dance or Flaming Weapon
Fire Grease

With this character, I've dealt good damage paired with good dps, and, should I need it, natural bleed can step in, as they all have a minimum Bleed of: 45 (Uchigatana and Nagakina), 38 (Wakizashi), and 50(Cross-Nagitana). I personally like to add the Great-Jar's Arsenal Talisman, should I wish for thicker armor to wear (without breaking the dark aesthetic), or like the Cross-Nagitana and/or Wakizashi as backup weapons, should I face an enemy who needs more raw damage per parry over stance-break (LOOKIN' AT YOU, CRUCIBLE KNIGHTS). I also like to have the Green Dog Talisman for Stamina Regen and not worry about premature death with the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman; and for damage, add in the Rotten Wing Insignia, or Dancer's Charm Talisman.


It was a pretty great run. Felt even better once I switched from Radahn's Great Rune to Bloodborne's Rally system.
