It works for me, after L-4&L5 lower lumbar surgery, and yes still walking, 10 yrs later this therapy plus injection, are doing it for me.

The first in the series of exercise per most physical therapist is starting totally prone with arms to the side, palms up face straight down or to the side, depending on where your are laying and then progressing to the other positions.
