Mckenzie exercises to treat back pain can give significant amount of relief. One of the ways to treat back pain is by McKenzie method. It is a type of physical therapy. The McKenzie exercises to be performed to get relief from back pain are: Press-ups to Reduce Back Pain, Forward Bend to Treat Back Pain, Cat-Cow Stretch (Pelvic Tilts), Lower Back Twist, Lower Back Massage and Stretch (Lumbar Rocking). While performing these mckenzie exercises to treat back pain, one should not exert excessively since it can cause problems or bring in additional pain.

As an certified McKenzie therapist i can absolutely confirm these are not 'McKenzie Exercises'. The McKenzie method would never advocate using all of these stretches presented here. This vid should be titled "Random back exercises for someone who does not have a specific diagnosis".

⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you have disc issues or pain down the leg *DO NOT* do the bending forward movements shown here in this video. Ask any PT !!!! It will make the problem worse and set you back in progress.

Dont do the standing excersice i was getting healed just fine and doing this excersice made me come back to the beggining. My back is even worse than before

I think the bending forward or backward inability and ability differs based on ur case. whether ur vertebrae bulge is anterior or posterior

I hurt myself doing some of these exercises - in particular, the lower back twist. Please don't ever suggest that one. No one needs to twist their lower back. Ever!!

I tried the press up, :1 - :29, for three times at 10 seconds each time. Something interesting happens: my thoracic pain (T1-T2-T3) seems to be reduced as well. Is there some kind of connection between the lumbar vertebrae L4-L5 to the thoracic vertebrae T1-T2-T3 ?

The first exercise (press up) made my back back worse. I think these exercises are not the Mekenzie approaches.
