How to fix error code 0x80070043. The network name cannot be found. (Windows 8.1)

Error code: 0x80070043. The network name cannot be found. When i try to map the network folder, 'Map Network Drive' attempting to connect to F:\, but Windows cannot access F:\ and displaying the error code 0x80070043.

Solution: Check the path to the network folder, or else your folder might not shared. Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise there might be a problem with your network.

This is an problem, not a real error. You were trying to map something that didn't exist yet.

The problem I'm having is with a linux FTP drive which it is also supposed to work with and which IE and Chrome can easily pull up a directory listing for.

Got a solution to that one, captain genius?

When try to share a folder it says access denied. The shared resource was not created at this time. Please help!
