Yep, I have plenty of it and I use it daily, I have always hit the weights since I was a teenager, now I am 61 and creatine does work for us mature people as well.

69 yrs old.. i take creatine and it works...weight lift 3x weekly, moderate weight till failure.Finish each workout with15 min. on stationary bike at lvl 10. .my doctors are always pleasantly surprised seeing an old guy with muscles.. they smile and say whatever youre doing, keep it up and invariably ask how do u do it at your age? I tell em no one gets out of this life alive but I'm going down swinging...

Dudes, here's a fun fact! Since you mentioned resistance training lowering fall risk: falling down (all forms included) is the number one cause of death. It surpasses heart disease, weapons and everything else but is rarely included in statistics.

This is good to know that it helps when we’re older. Thank you for this information.

It's been really helpful for me post-menopause and I encourage my physio patients to consider taking it after talking to their doctor

Mobility is also super important as you get older.

It's great to hear medical doctors providing this information!!! You two don't have anything to gain by advocating for its use.

It would be a very worthy cause for you guys to take up. The fight against muscular atrophy supported by the appalling general exercise advice spewed out by Western health authorities. Running is an appalling way to exercise as you get older. It effectively speeds up sarcopenia. It has a minor place in a fitness program, but should be strictly limited to a timescale that won’t promote an adaptation to it. 20 minutes every other day, with strength training on the other days being the primary focus of an exercise program.

My girlfriends organic chemistry professor told her that the body naturally produces creatine and by supplementing it your body would stop producing it naturally. Should I be concerned about taking creatine supplements?

I took a creatine supplement in the past and followed the directions, but started to notice slight hair loss. I’m a guy and would rather comb my hair than polish my head.

I got really sick from alcohol and I was dying my liver and kidneys were shutting down. But took about a year and a half to get to where I could start exercising and working out at you know 1/5 of what I used to and I was taking creatine and I had to stop because it was affecting my kidney readings I'd love to be able to but I am not taking chance of having more ascites cuz that's horrible and I can't function at all when I'm putting on the fluids. But thanks
