Warning…long post. Please allow me. I’ve been carrying strongside (left handed) for the better part of 32 years and it has served me well. It seems the last 10 or so years, appendix carry has become all the rage. I resisted it at first as a new “fad”. Recently I decided to start considering appendix carry because….why not? I’m open minded. I just didn’t want to break an old habit in how I’ve trained for the last 32 years and didn’t want to put the time in to training a new way. I’m a big proponent of constant training, never do anything new with carrying unless you put in the effort and training. Like red dots. I resisted that too as a ridiculous fad. Red dots are only for rifles, right? Well, after a lifetime of shooting, I got laser accurate with my iron sights. But since my old eyes aren’t as sharp as they used to be, I decided to go with my instructors recommendation of going with a red dot. Glad I did. Once I trained and practiced with it, I will shoot no other way! So now I figured I’ll try appendix carry. I won’t worry about having to use the bathroom. At my age, I’ll just go in my Depends that my holster is attached to and go about my day! 😂 Just kidding! This video was helpful in me get started with AIWB carry. Thanks man!
