Fat Guys Concealed Carry & The '300th Parallel'

What is the best method to carry concealed if you are overweight? Many bigger folks carry concealed on their side, or closer to the small of their back (in the 4 o'clock position) while writing off other methods of carrying concealed like the Appendix carry method. Though this method to many is just for skinny people, it might be more about how you wear your gun than anything. What is your everyday Carry (edc) method?

In this video, my special guest Jacob answers the question "Can Fat Guys (his words not mine) Appendix Carry"? Jacob also introduces us to what he has coined the '300th Parallel'. You can find more from Jacob on his YouTube channel: +Evolving Daily

My top holster pick for my frame: T.rex arms sidecar kydex holster which is made for the most popular guns for concealed carry and is specifically built for those who like to appendix carry their gun. I carry a Glock 19 with an APL light.

I'm a big guy who carries appendix. I can confirm the 300th parallel. It's 100% accurate. The shift is real.

That was awesome. He needs his own line of holsters, especially designed for portly guys. He could call it "Fupa-cabra gear."

John: “I like your belly button. That’s nice.”

Big guy: “You’re welcome.”

Been saying the same thing for years. I'm 260lbs and I carry appendix everyday. He nailed it, all gut or all foopa!!

This video was funny! However, as a big guy that also crosses the 300th parallel, it was very informative.

Damn I was so close to reaching this 300th parallel had I known this before I decided to slim down to aid in appendix carry I would have introduced some more barley pop and snickers into my diet. Gaining 30 lbs is a lot easier and quicker than losing the 70lbs I have. Shit.

As a horizontally gifted individual this video is welcome! Thank u for the confidence. Sadly I'm in SoCal in a "shall issue" county (i.e. "No issue") so my shoulder holster sits in my closet but when the time comes I will approach the appendix carry as an option. Thanks guys keep up the Warrior Poet work!

Love, love, love this!

I prefer not to call myself fat per se.... I am a "person of abundance."

Seriously, thank you for this video. It has suddenly changed my perspective. I have always felt appendix carry was the best way to carry concealed, but since I am a person of abundance I would have to carry 3 o'clock or lose the necessary weight to go all "John Lovell" on it. At 55 yrs old, that's going to take some doing. (Especially being a diabetic)

Without getting graphic, and using humor instead... I learned it's possible right now.

This guy is one hilarious guy. We want more! You two have to make some collaboration videos. Love it, and he will get subbed.
