In this video we are addressing the #1 MOST COMMON appendix carry mistake. Initially I had this appendix carry mistake slotted for number #6, in this six part series, but I decided to make it number one, because it’s easily the number one reason people stop appendix carrying…because sometimes it’s easier to give up, or to just take a break.

I tried AIWB basically when I first got my permit seven years ago and found it to be atrocious. The community hadn't built these fantastic information networks yet and so I just went with conventional wisdom and chose behind the hip for concealment. Two years later, I begin to dabble again when I got my first J frame and since then it's been the only way I carry, be that snubnose or duty pistol. AIWB definitely takes some patience and curiosity to dial in what is just right for you and it's possible with a much wider array of body types than most people think. Excited for this series!

Excellent point. The Flood was fist holster that worked for me.

I'm using the enigma / phlster holster with a glock 43X and my main problem is lack of grip rotation. I have the taller modwing installed and the standard belt on the holes as suggested for maximum grip rotation. I've ordered but not yet received the emod insert to see if that helps at all, but I kind of doubt it will. All I need is something even taller than what I have now and it'll solve all of my problems. I'm thinking I at least need a wedge, which my Tenicor VELO already does somewhat and works fine for me.

Is it just me, or does it seem everyone without an Enigma keeps the grip low due to the location of the anchor points of the holster, and those with an Enigma usually carry the grip much higher?
Anyone else noticing this?
FWIW, I haven't been able to try an Enigma yet.

Two things changed aiwb for me:

1. Losing a lot of weight

2. Phlster Pro Series made things much more comfortable.
