I am actually on this level, coach. Calm but not sleepy. As opposed to the first events of my insomnia, there’s just a fear within that i would go insane because i’m sleepless. But with all the exercises, techniques and hearing everyone on here, my trust in myself that i could go past this fear, by increments, my courage is building up alongside with being indifferent whether i’m getting a good night sleep or not. That said, my mind and muscles is more quiet and relaxed than before. Sleep is creeping in. Hyperarousal would slowly go down. But as i said, who cares? I have stopped thinking about those big words, and my sanity still intact in spite of my worse insomnia before🙂. Not the best sleeper and not putting much effort in it, i’d say i am happier now.

How long will it take for this part to go down? I’m calm but still can’t fall asleep for hours and then my body wakes me up after 2 hours of sleep and I’m unable to fall back asleep :(

Its been 2 weeks i am sleeping 2 hours after laying on bed what do i do am not anxious not fearing not hyperaroused it all is gone now just thoughts keep flooding i let them pass but sleep at 1-2 am on alternate day its good

You can say it’s just a habit also so you may be calm but your retraining your brain and it can take time brain retraining
