Anxiety, depression, and burnout are at an all time amongst healthcare providers. Sometimes it is hard to recognize the symptoms when it is happening to yourself. In this video I want to share some of the strategies I've started to take as I near the end of my third year of medical school and clinical rotations. While I think having strategies is important, ultimately they are only bandaids for a system that inherently manifests burnout. By having larger discussions about how to actually implement health and wellness amongst medical students and residents, we can truly address the core of the issue.
