I am a former Seventh-day Adventist. The good news is not all members believe the conspiracies taught in the church. In fact, when I was a member I never believed in the Sunday Law conspiracy and I respected people from other denominations. The main issue with Adventism is they redefine commonly used Christian terms such as the sanctuary (investigative judgement), Sunday Worship (Mark of the Beast), Bible alone (Ellen Whites writings plus the Bible), the trinity (contrary to fundamental belief #2, about 30% of Seventh-day Adventists do not believe in the trinity. also the church officially endorses a Godhead of three separate Beings like the Mormons). The ONLY reason 70% of Adventists believe in the mainstream trinity is because the Church's membership doubled from 2010 to 2020 and most of their converts came from Catholic and Protestant backgrounds. If not for that, only 50% of Adventists today would be trinitarian. Most people are shocked when they find this out but it is true. There is also a "Father and Son" movement in the Seventh-day Adventist Church that wishes to make the church "less catholic" and become semi-Arian.

Every time I hear this I can't believe I was raised in this madess. The more you understand the SDA, the more you will realize she meant everything she did. I was so afraid of Catholics when I was young but that fear led me to want to know more. When the SDA refused to help my aunt with a wheelchair even though she tithed to them all the time, it just was not enough money for them to want to help her. I went to the Catholic Church and asked them for help. I even offered them money and they refused to take it from me. They just gave me a wheelchair for her to use. I loved being able to come back to her and let her know that her own church refused to help her because she was too poor for them to help but the Catholic church was more than helpful. I'm not sure what she thought about that. Before you believe anything, please take responsibility for yourself and discover the truth.

Another major false teaching they (Adventists) promote is Jesus Christ and Michael the arc-angel are the same person (The J.W. --that go door-to-door also promote that false belief). I once asked them to explain Jude 1:9 where Michael told the devil: "The Lord rebuke you". If they were the same Person why did Michael defer to the Lord? Besides, Jesus Christ is GOD the Son. Second person of the Holy Trinity. Michael is an "angel".

One of the many reasons I left the SDA Church was the outright bigotry directed at the Catholic Church. E. G. White started writing in the 1840s which coincides with the rabidly anti Catholic Know Nothing political movement.
