Almost all exercises, especially true for the upper body ones, requires u to tuck and lock in ur shoulder blades to prevent injury and perform the exercises much more effective and efficient.

The push-up is one of the rare movements to have scapular protraction involved. However for beginners this is great advice so they don’t get use to this when going into any bench movement and begin to protract and lose tension through the chest during this movement.

bro tysm i never did them right i saw the chest fly mistake video and decided to search this up i wasn't dissapointed. now i do them right they're much harder this way but its cause i have weak chest thx man :)
