InPresence 0026: Unidentified Flying Objects

InPresence host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in "parapsychology" ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). For many years he served as president of the non-profit Intuition Network, an organization dedicated to creating a world in which all people were supported and encouraged in developing inner intuitive abilities.

Here he reviews a number of theories concerning UFOs. Are they psychokinetic projections? Are they extraterrestrial visitors? Are they time travelers (i.e., humans) visiting from the future? Do they come from hyperspace dimensions? Are they part of a control system manipulating the human species? Are they manifestations of the trickster archetype? Jeffrey suggests that many different phenomena get lumped together under the label of UFOs. The field has something of a circus atmosphere and the "trickster" seems to always be nearby.

Dear Dr. Mishlove, I would take it from here with what I learned from Arthur M. Young (from your and Mr. Bloch's interviews with him). That he respected the "Laws' and became able to hover in the mid air at his command. I am not articulate enough to express what I mean; but the double halos appeared on sun when he died (Based on what you mentioned in one of your previous talks) signifies well what you are talking about. To me it means, honesty, respect (not to take unknowns as enemy), and perseverance in what we might think we are cutout for, are what which will take us to the realm of gods. In the mid 70's our Marine Air Wing would deploy from El Toro, Ca. to Yuma, Az. and 29 Palms (29 Stumps) and there was always talk, both from ground crew and pilots, about UFO sightings. My personal account was in Yuma when myself and another spotted a UFO near the base and later that afternoon, a plane came in from Cherry Point, N.C. and the pilot announced he needed to make a UFO report. Good times indeed.

I have been lucky enough to have had 7 sightings so far, ranging from lights in the sky to a triangular craft, no more than 30 metres away ...until it transformed into a luminous sphere before dematerialising !
This has led to years of intensive research, which I believe is the intention of the occupants of any sighted craft...the sighting being a catalyst.
Presently I believe the genuine sightings to be terrestrial, extraterrestrial, , inter-dimensional and any resulting combinations :)

Spot on! I saw a weather balloon in Albuquerque, and it was really cool to see, but it did not even look like a Frisbee. Whitley Streiber's book and movie "Communion" both made me think I was abducted, leaving me with PTSD symptoms every time I saw short folks in hooded monk robes. I think they were probing for gut bacteria to make probiotics for our future selves.

In the context of psi research, and related to the UFO phenomenon, I find alien abduction cases quite interesting. From what I have read, it appears to me that they communicate telepathically quite naturally and that they apply mental influencing on humans to amazing levels. Also, the reports suggest to me that they are able to invoke controlled out-of-body (OBE) experiences in humans, at least the characteristics of what people say about the actual abduction process is quite similar from what I have read about OBEs, but with the difference that in abduction cases people seem to have virtually no control over their experience. And from some reports it seems that the aliens control their vehicles and machinery mentally as well, possibly through some form of psychotronics.
