Captain Kirk is Alive - One, JD-Xi, EHX V256

My first live version of a song I recorded in 2022 on my album *Rawboned Brute*.

Originally, I had played the bassline on a real bass, but this time I used the One to sequence the JD-Xi. I tried using the vocoder on the JD-Xi, but it's unintelligible, so I plugged the One into the EHX V256, too.

This was my first time with the Oxi One arranger, and after muddling through some weird conventions (repeats are quantized by default, which was hard to figure out), it turns out to be powerful and useful. I'll definitely be exploring further.

It took a few takes, and I had some weird electric crickets for a while that turned out to be a fan I was running since it's bloody hot and humid here right now.

The guitar solo stuff is sloopppy. I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm running my guitar and vocals through a Boss DD-500, and a Neunaber Immerse MK1.
