Thank you for reposting this. Dr. M'Benga is right about Vulcans. They might not say a lot, but their body language speaks volumes about what they're thinking and feeling.

This is probably my favorite fan film of all time. Just imagine what was going through Spock's mind when he heard about this. His best friend was presumed dead and then a century later he gets word that the Enterprise blew up and that somehow not only was Kirk there, but that he died again, and he could do nothing to help. Especially since Kirk lost the Enterprise and his son in order to save him.

This hits so hard..

I loved Shatner as Kirk and sad to see him go, but this adds so much gravity to the end of Generations.
Kirk always said that he would be alone when he died and both McCoy and Spock lived on into the 24th century.

Idk which made me tear up more, Spock finding Kirks combadge, or seeing the battered Enterprise burning up in Genesis atmosphere again 😢

What a scene.
A visitation to a grave
I try to imagine this scene from the perspective of Spock.
Your oldest and best friend, who you thought lost and mourned some 70 odd years ago has reappeared out of nowhere in an official report to Starfleet. It also mentions that friend’s death as a result of what happened on the planet.
As that friend, to mourn your best friends death some seventy years AFTER you had done it?
Spock’s face says it al

I think Otoy themselves took it down. I can only imagine that Paramount Global leaned on them to do it. They're awfully pissy when it comes to "Star Trek" fan material that outstrips their own. Apparently working with the Great Bird's estate is not enough of a protection...

Thank you for saving this from "the Vault". Drives me Nuts when people publish something So profound and then pull it.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting this back. It’s a shame that OTOY took it down for whatever reason.
There was another video they took down which also showed the Enterprise burning up.

Can you imagine if the TMP-era Spock flash forward of the Enterprise had actually been in TMP and it's never expanded on until we see it happen in SFS?

I feel warm and heartbreaking at the same time. Thanks for the reupload. However, I still cannot comprehend the meaning of flash back of Spock at the end of the clip. What was that the creator trying to convey?

Well at least i hope Spock could have to this time from his old friends still Scotty cause he survived the crash in the transporter on the dyson sphere and maybe "Bones" Mc Coy😢❤

Absolutely love this but still unsure what the last scene represents. It's Spock in the past, seemingly having a very quick uncomfortable memory of the Enterprise A crashing/self destruct, which I'm not sure why he has that vision/memory, he was on the planet an "empty" shell so to speak at the time.
